Beginning with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the journey offers breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. From Pokhara, a private jeep drive takes you along the Kali Gandaki corridor, where you will visit the sacred Baglung Kalika Temple and Galeshwor Mahadev, both important pilgrimage sites.
As the journey continues, travelers enjoy soothing moments at the natural Tatopani hot springs and marvel at the stunning Rupse Waterfalls. Passing through the peaceful Lete village and the apple capital of Marpha, the trip highlights the cultural richness of Mustang. The route also takes you to the historic village of Kagbeni, known for its Tibetan-influenced traditions and ancient monasteries.
The spiritual climax of the tour is the visit to the revered Muktinath Temple (3,800m), a sacred destination for both Hindus and Buddhists symbolizing liberation and eternal peace. The tour concludes with a scenic return to Pokhara and a flight back to Kathmandu, leaving you with cherished memories of a soulful Himalayan pilgrimage.
Your journey begins with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (around 6–7 AM), offering stunning aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Our representative will transfer you from the hotel to the airport, and upon arrival in Pokhara, a private vehicle will be ready to continue your drive toward Mustang.
The scenic drive follows the Kali Gandaki River, with enroute visits to the Baglung Kalika Temple, the famous Parbat suspension bridge, and the revered Galeshwor Mahadev Temple. Along the way, you will also have the opportunity to relax at Tatopani’s natural hot spring and admire the thundering Rupse Waterfalls. Passing through the serene Lete village, the journey continues deeper into Mustang’s striking landscapes before reaching the charming Marpha village, also known as the “Apple Capital” of Nepal.
In the evening, stroll through the cobblestone alleys of Marpha, explore its quaint monasteries, and savor local apple-based delicacies. Overnight stay in a comfortable lodge at Marpha.
After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive from Marpha towards the sacred destination of Muktinath. The route passes through the bustling town of Jomsom and the historic village of Kagbeni, famous for its Tibetan-influenced culture and ancient monasteries. The journey to Muktinath takes around 1.5 hours, offering spectacular mountain views along the Kali Gandaki valley.
Upon arrival at the Muktinath Jeep Station, take a short 30-minute break to acclimatize before starting a gentle 30–45 minute hike up to the Muktinath Temple (3,800m). Here, you will have time for darshan (worship) and to perform spiritual rituals around the temple’s sacred 108 water spouts and eternal flame, revered by both Hindus and Buddhists as a place of liberation and salvation.
After completing your spiritual activities, descend back to the lodge for refreshment and a meal at your convenience. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive back to Pokhara, retracing the picturesque landscapes of Mustang and the Kali Gandaki valley. Upon arrival in Pokhara (6–7 hours’ drive), check into your standard 3-star hotel at Lakeside, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere by the lake.
In the morning, enjoy some free time at leisure in Pokhara. You may take a relaxing stroll around Lakeside, explore the local markets, or simply enjoy the serene views of Phewa Lake and the surrounding hills.
Around midday, our representative will transfer you from your hotel to the Pokhara airport. From here, you will board a scenic flight back to Kathmandu, which takes about 25 minutes and offers stunning aerial views of the Himalayas one last time.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, our vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel, marking the end of your short yet spiritually fulfilling Muktinath Darshan Tour.

Our 3 nights and 4 days tour from Kathmandu–Pokhara–Marpha–Muktinath arranged by GhumnaJau Travel and Tour was truly an unforgettable experience. This trip was special as it was organized for our Class 10 students of Ekta Academy, accompanied by our Principal ma’am and teachers. Managing a student group is challenging, but GhumnaJau handled everything smoothly and professionally. From hotels, meals, transportation, and timing to sightseeing, everything was perfectly organized. We visited all destinations as per schedule without rush or confusion, which reflects their strong planning and discipline. The serene views of Pokhara, the charm of Marpha’s Jeri Galli, and the spiritual experience at Muktinath Temple made the journey memorable for both students and teachers. This tour will always remain one of my best memories as a traveler and an educator. I highly recommend GhumnaJau for educational, family, and group tours.
