Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax, recover from your journey, or stroll around the bustling streets of Thamel.
After breakfast, you will attend a short trek briefing and preparation session with your guide. Later, we take a scenic one-hour flight to Dhangadhi, a vibrant town in far-western Nepal. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and explore the local area.
After breakfast, we begin our overland journey to Silgadi. The road climbs through steep green hills and charming villages, with a lunch stop at Dadeldhura. Continuing along the beautiful Seti River, we arrive in Silgadi by late afternoon. Here, we can visit the famous Shaileshwari Temple before settling into our fully organized tented camp.
Today marks the first day of trekking. After breakfast, we drive a short distance before starting our hike towards Jhigrana. The trail winds through villages and farmlands before reaching Baglake for lunch. From here, we trek another two hours to Jhigrana, where our campsite awaits.

After breakfast, we begin our steady ascent through sub-tropical pine forests, which gradually give way to sub-alpine forests of fir, hemlock, oak, and rhododendron. The trail offers a beautiful contrast of vegetation as we climb higher. By late lunch, we arrive at Bichpani Camp and spend the evening soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Today is a short yet rewarding trek. The trail leads us through alpine forests and streams formed by melting snow before opening up into the stunning green meadows of Khaptad National Park. Along the way, we pass Sitapaila Temple and the sacred Tribeni Temple (confluence of three rivers). We also visit Khaptad Daha, a tranquil lake, before returning to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the Khaptad Baba Ashram, the spiritual center of the park.
We spend the day exploring the natural and cultural wonders of Khaptad. In the morning, we hike to Nagdhunga viewpoint for breathtaking views of Mt. Api (7,132m) and Mt. Saipal (7,031m). After lunch, we continue towards Sahastralinga, another significant pilgrimage site, depending on group comfort and interest. The day offers a true immersion into Khaptad’s wilderness and spirituality.
After an early breakfast, we retrace our steps through the meadows and forests to Jhigrana. From here, a short drive takes us back to Silgadi, where we rest and reflect on the serene beauty of Khaptad.
Leaving Silgadi behind, we drive back through hills and riversides to Dhangadhi. In the evening, you can enjoy a short village walk or relax at your hotel.
In the morning, you may opt for an additional jungle activity in Shuklaphanta National Park (at extra cost) before taking the afternoon flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel on arrival.
