These crossings reward trekkers with unmatched panoramic views of towering peaks including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and Pumori, along with glaciers, high-altitude lakes, and pristine valleys. The journey begins with a scenic flight to Lukla and gradually unfolds through traditional Sherpa villages, vibrant markets like Namche Bazaar, and spiritual landmarks such as Khumjung Monastery, where trekkers can glimpse local Buddhist practices. Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our company representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, a short briefing will be provided about the trek.
Today, enjoy a guided cultural sightseeing tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and the sacred Pashupatinath Temple. Our local guide will share cultural and historical insights throughout the tour.
Take a scenic morning flight to Lukla’s Tenzing-Hillary Airport, one of the most thrilling airstrips in the world. From Lukla, begin your trek along the Dudh Koshi River through rhododendron forests, mani walls, and small Sherpa villages before reaching Phakding.
Cross suspension bridges and ascend through pine forests toward Monjo, the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park. Continue on a steep climb to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant trading hub and main Sherpa town of the Khumbu region. Enjoy your first view of Everest (8,848.86m) from the trail.
Spend the day acclimatizing with a short hike to the Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for a spectacular panorama of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Continue to Khumjung village, the largest Sherpa settlement, where you can visit the ancient monastery said to preserve a Yeti skull, before returning via Khunde village.
Follow a scenic trail alongside the Bhote Koshi River, passing prayer flags, chortens, and small Sherpa villages. Gradually ascend to Thame, a beautiful village renowned for its monastery and strong mountaineering heritage.
Continue trekking on ancient trading trails once used by Tibetan traders. Pass through Marulung village and follow the Bhote Koshi upstream before climbing towards Lumde, surrounded by rocky landscapes and chortens.
Today is one of the highlights as you ascend to Renjo-La Pass, where breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu await. Descend past glacial lakes to reach the stunning Gokyo Valley, located beside the third Gokyo Lake.
Take an excursion to the fourth and fifth Gokyo Lakes, set against the backdrop of snow-capped giants. From the northern ridges, enjoy views of Cho Oyu (8,201m) and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest in the Himalayas. Return to Gokyo.
Hike up Gokyo Ri early in the morning for a spectacular sunrise view of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and surrounding peaks. Descend and trek across the Ngozumpa Glacier to Thangnak.
Climb gradually over rocky and icy terrain to the top of Cho-La Pass, offering panoramic views of Ama Dablam and Cholatse. Carefully descend through steep sections and glacial paths before reaching Dzongla.
A short but scenic trek leads to Lobuche, a junction point on the trail to Everest Base Camp. Enjoy views of towering peaks and the Khumbu Glacier valley.
Trek to Gorakshep, then continue to Everest Base Camp along a moraine trail. Standing at the base of the world’s highest mountain, you’ll witness the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding Himalayan giants. Return to Gorakshep for the night.
Climb Kala Patthar early in the morning for a breathtaking sunrise view over Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and the Khumbu Glacier. After this unforgettable experience, descend back to Lobuche.
Cross the final and highest of the three passes—Kongma-La. The pass offers stunning views of the Everest ranges before descending steeply to the Imja Valley and Chhukhung village.
Optional morning hike to Chhukhung Ri for panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Descend through yak pastures and Dingboche village before reaching Pangboche, home to one of the region’s oldest monasteries.
Descend to Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu, before continuing through forests of pine and rhododendron to the vibrant hub of Namche.
Retrace your steps along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges and passing traditional villages before reaching Lukla for your final night in the Khumbu.
Take an early morning scenic flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon for relaxation or souvenir shopping.
